Vintage Outfit Favorites - Dec 6

I love when girls still wear dresses even when the weather gets cold and dreary. Nothing like a perky vintage dress paired with black tights to make you forget about the chill!

What I'm Wearing Today: "I Love History Channel"

Well I've done it, I took the plunge (the cut)! So far I'm loving it, it's definitely shorter than I thought it would be, but luckily my hair grows lightning fast, so soon I'll have more to play around with.

Goodness, I feel like a different person all together! I feel taller too. I look quite tall in the photo next to Beatrice and Eloise, but that's just a trick of the camera *hehe*

I've also just started a LOOKBOOK.nu account. Although, I probably won't be updating it that often as work and being a wife and mom keeps me pretty busy, but I do save many inspirations of other girls who have amazing style, so feel free to take a look! { Rodellee's LookBook }

{WHAT I'M WEARING}
Bowtie: Vintage, Adorevintage.com
Lace Collar: Vintage, Antique shop in Orlando
Lace Dress: Marshall's
Cardigan: Vintage, Thrifted
Satchel: Vintage, SLOW L.A.
Socks: UO
Shoes: Thrifted, Aldo?

Outfit Post #8: Green Meadows

This is one of my favorite vintage dresses I own, the first time I wore it was on my 23rd birthday (over 3 yrs ago, hehe) and I also had blonde (well blonde-ish) hair.

{What I Wore}
Dress: Vintage 1970s maxi dress
Hair pins: Vintage inspired from Forever21

This dress is definitely showing a bit more wear though. After a recent wash I noticed a couple tiny holes close to the hem. But I guess that has to be expected, after all this dress is over 30 years old.

Outfit Post #7: Choco Mocha

Was a bit chilly this morning so had to bring out the tights (hooray!). It was 'Back to School Breakfast' at Chloe's school and this is what I wore.

{What I Wore}
Jacket: Anthropologie
Dress: Bought in New Orleans a few years ago on Magazine street
Shoes: Seychelles from Endless.com
Bag: Vintage quilted Chanel
Ring: Vintage Avon
Belt: Charlotte Russe or F21

Outfit Post #6: Grey Vogue

{What I Wore}
Top: Urban Outfitters
Shorts: Vintage from "American Vintage" (in L.A.)
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
Clutch: Vintage "Vogue" magazine clutch circa 1970s
Ring: Vintage cocktail ring circa 1960s

Oh Monday...Monday... you are so full of promise for the week to come. I really must start on my "To-Do" list habit again.

Outfit Post #5: Autumn Symphony

{What I Wore }
Top: Vintage 1950s pleated bow blouse
Skirt: Vintage 1950s novelty print skirt
Cardigan: Bought @ Marshall's
Shoes: Beverly Feldman
Sunglasses: Flea Market from 5 yrs ago

I love this vintage skirt so much, it has different orchestra instruments printed on it and sketches of a ballerina, choir, and the audience! It's like playing a little game of "Where's Waldo" *hehe*

Do Dance

Here I am with Hannah at another parlour evening in Lewes.

Do feel free to start any kind of evening with your friends in order to meet like-minded people who want to wear similar outfits. Sometimes one does have to clear the moth balls from the same old petticoat worn one too many times!

Hannah’s dress was bought by a friend from the Brighton car boot market – she seems to have an endless supply.
